In 2024, The State Council of Heraldry at the Parliament of Georgia published two significant works.
The first is the 11th issue of the journal Herald. Over the years, this journal has featured state and nationally significant symbols, legal acts related to these symbols, and scientific research necessary for establishing new ones. It also includes heraldic, vexillological, numismatic, and phaleristic projects, as well as newly discovered artifacts. Contributions from both Georgian and foreign scholars enrich the journal’s content. “Herald”, nr. 11/2024 – a publication of the State Council of Heraldry of Georgia (112 pp., with texts in Georgian and English abstracts).

The second is the stand-alone album Heraldic Art by heraldic artist Zakaria Kiknadze. This album presents a series of heraldic works and portraits of historical figures. Since the 1990s, Zakaria Kiknadze has been a member of the State Commission on Symbols and is one of the co-authors of the concept of the current heraldic-vexillological symbols of Georgia (the coat of arms and the flag). The album features contemporary interpretations of historical family coats of arms and imaginative portraits of these families.
